This Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course is designed to aid the pediatric healthcare provider in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently and effectively manage critically ill infants and children, resulting in improved outcomes. Topics will include airway management, shock management, and cardiac dysrhythmias. This will be based on the new 2020 Guideliness.
Please Bring To Class:Every student must come to class with a current provider manual and completed pre-test. The pretest can be found by following this link https://elearning.heart.org and completing the Pediatric Precourse Self-Assessment. You must pass the pre-test with a 70% or better to be allowed access into the class. The PALS manual can be in book form or ebook. Failure to cancel the course within 24 hours, will result in forefeiture of course cost.
