Watercolor Basics


If you’ve always wanted to learn watercolor, develop a sense of wonder as you become comfortable with this versatile medium’s techniques and materials. Through a combination of in-person and video instruction, explore pigment properties and play with tools. Practice wet-on-dry, wet-in-wet, washes, saving whites and lifting. Come to understand value concepts by painting light, middle and dark values. You’ll pull all the basic concepts together as you complete three simple paintings.
