Off Season Camping

CourseGraphic Be ready for winter weather and climate conditions, learning  from two experienced outdoorsman, one a Retired Colonel from the Marine Mountain Warfare Center and avid hunter. Class topics cover clothing, survival and proper seasonal gear. A visit is planned to a local outdoor store to view equipment and a field trip to a local regional park to demonstrate equipment setup. Trail travel using Snow Shoes or Cross-country Skis will discussed. This family friendly class welcomes ages 8 and up.
