Operating Room Aide

Prepare for a dynamic role as an Operating Room (OR) Aide! This program combines six weeks of online learning with hands-on lab training to build critical skills needed to support surgical teams. Learn essential techniques in surgical scrubbing, sterile field maintenance, gowning, gloving, and patient transport. Weekly labs in a simulated OR environment reinforce your skills, giving you confidence in real-world settings. Upon completion, you’ll be ready to pursue OR Aide positions in hospitals and surgical centers, with a solid foundation for advancing toward surgical technology certifications or further specialized training at TMCC.
