Photograph Summer Landscapes

Continuing the exciting collaboration between TMCC EPIC and the Nevada Land Trust (NLT), award-winning instructor Mark Vollmer guides you in capturing the beauty of summer in high mountain environments. Photograph sweeping alpine landscapes, intimate close-up details, and low-light outdoor scenes—including the stunning Tahoe Meadows area, part of which NLT helped acquire for the U.S. Forest Service. No matter your camera type or experience level, you’ll learn creative techniques to compose breathtaking scenic images and tell compelling summer nature stories. This beginner-friendly class includes a field shoot.

Please note: Northern Nevada weather can be unpredictable. Participants may encounter uneven terrain, mud, water, or other outdoor conditions, dress appropriately and plan accordingly.
