This 4-hour seminar invites adults of all backgrounds to learn what’s possible within the fields of Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC). Gain a clear understanding of what these industries encompass and discover the wealth of opportunity they offer. You may already be qualified for a career you didn’t even know existed! In celebration of Women’s History Month, you’ll hear from accomplished women leaders in AEC as they share their personal stories of success, challenges, and lessons learned. Through engaging presentations, interactive exploration, and an expert panel discussion, you’ll gain insight into real-world career paths, education and training requirements, as well as current job opportunities here in Northern Nevada and beyond. Notice

Please read:  The seminar begins promptly at 8 a.m., with light morning refreshments and networking starting 30 minutes prior at 7:30 a.m. You’ll also have dedicated time to connect with panelists, local professionals, and other attendees throughout the morning. Important: Attendance is required to earn a Certificate of Completion, which serves as a prerequisite to apply for the Turner Construction Scholarship through the Nevada Women’s Fund and other scholarship opportunities. These scholarships support individuals pursuing education and training in AEC fields. Must be at least 16 years of age to attend.
