Photograph Spring’s Beauty in the Truckee Meadows

In collaboration with Truckee Meadows Community College, Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful is partnering with Mark Vollmer’s photography workshop exploring the fascinating spring life of the Reno/Sparks natural environment. Find out how to use your creativity to capture spring’s vibrancy in this combination classroom & field shoot. All experience levels and camera formats are welcome. This is a family-friendly class for ages 12+ accompanied by an adult. There will be an opportunity to photograph before-and-after scenes of KTMB’s Great Community Cleanup at one of their cleanup sites, either in a park or along the Truckee River.

This class includes a field shoot. Northern Nevada weather can be unpredictable, and participants may encounter uneven terrain, mud, water, or other outdoor conditions. Please dress appropriately and plan accordingly.
