This is a hybrid course, requiring reliable access to a computer and the internet, as a portion of the class takes place online and the rest is conducted in person in a classroom setting. To help ensure student success, we recommend that participants hold a high school diploma or equivalent, have an 11th-grade reading level, 9th-grade math skills, and strong study and test-taking habits. You must purchase and wear scrubs (any color) for all in-person classes (approximate cost: $25). You must also purchase your stethoscope and blood pressure cuff (approximate cost: $25-$35). Hands-on lab sessions require students to practice with each other under close instructor observation.
Orientation is on the first day of class and will be held in person on Thursday, January 29, 2026. Otherwise, Thursday and Friday sessions are online, and Saturday sessions are in-person.
The certification exam takes place on Thursday, 04/23/26, at TMCC Meadowood Campus from 5:30-8:30 PM.
