Intro to Famous Artists - Queen of the Polka Dot, Yayoi Kusama

ClassGraphic Explore the lives of renowned artists of the past and present! We will explore highly acclaimed artists, the art movements that inspired their masterpieces, and then create "interpreted" masterpieces inspired by their work. In this class you will learn about the Life and Work of Yayoi Kusama, Queen of the Polka Dot. Learn about the use of polka dots as patterns and 2D & 3D patterns. Experiment with papier mache, sequins, mirrors, and more to make a unique piece of Kusama inspired art! 

No artistic experience necessary, just enthusiasm and a passion for bringing your unique perspective to life.  *Additional Supply Fee of $10 will be paid directly to instructor at the beginning of class. 

*This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY class and is open for registration for students ages 12+, accompanied by an adult.
